Pledge It is the leading sports crowdfunding platform empowering professional athletes, high school teams and fitness enthusiasts to earn donations for a cause based on their athletic performance. In some instances the athlete endorser of a fundraising campaign will pledge to gift a piece of sports memorabilia (Incentive) to a random fan, potentially making the fundraising campaign subject to certain federal, state, and local laws that regulate sweepstakes in the United States. Donors of a suggested amount will receive a complimentary entrance into the sweepstakes. Those who wish not to donate the suggested amount may enter the sweepstakes by clicking here to complete the entry form. Activity on our website(s) is subject to our general Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.

ELIGIBILITY: Det's Superstars for Seattle Children’s COVID-19 Relief (the “Sweepstakes“) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Pledge It and their affiliates, promotion and other vendor agencies involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
TIMING: The Sweepstakes entry period begins Friday, May 1, 2020 at 12:01 AM EST and ends Monday, June 1, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Sweepstakes Period“). Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

DESCRIPTION OF GIVEAWAY EXPERIENCE: Entrants will be entered into a drawing to win one (1) experience identified in the title of the fundraising campaign that you voluntarily selected. Entries will be accepted starting at 12:01 AM EST on Friday, May 1, 2020 until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, June 1. The Sweepstakes winner will be randomly selected and announced on or after Monday, June 8th, 2020
HOW TO ENTER: Visit pledgeit.org/for/detssuperstars from Friday, May 1, 2020 through Monday, June 1, select a fundraising campaign and donate the suggested minimum amount to receive a complimentary entry or simply fill out the alternative method of entry form linked to the Official Rules of the campaign with the required fields. Each free entry is automatically assigned 1 entry (equivalent to the donation entries you get when you donate $11). Regardless of how you enter, including by donation, the maximum number of entries for any one person is restricted to 5,000 entries per person per campaign. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on the last day of Sweepstakes. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple identities, email addresses, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s plays and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor or Administrator and will not be returned. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
WINNER PRIZE SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: This is a game of chance. Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries. On or about June 4, 2020, the potential winner will be selected at random using an independent auto-generated selection process available at http://www.random.org/. All potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The potential winner will be notified on or after June 8th, 2020 and will be asked to provide additional verification information, which may include a background check. Winner and, if applicable, their guest(s) agree to cooperate fully with Sponsor in Sponsor conducting any background check(s), which includes providing information requested by Sponsor including, but not limited to, full legal names and addresses. If the Prize includes meeting a celebrity, meeting a public figure, or attending a special event and any background check indicates, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, that the potential winner or the potential winner’s guest(s) pose a danger to or may harm the reputation of any person or entity involved in the sweepstakes, Sponsor may disqualify said winner and move on to the next randomly drawn potential winner. Sponsor is not obligated to share any specific results of background check with any Potential Winner or Potential Winner Guests, whether the background check resulted in a disqualification or not. Factors that could result in disqualification as a Winner or Winner's Guest(s) include, without limitation, having been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, being delinquent on a government-ordered payment, such as child support, spousal support, alimony, tax payments, etc., or any other criminal or civil offense determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Where necessary to fulfill this requirement in any jurisdiction, Potential Winner and/or Potential Winner’s Guests must provide authorization and/or complete any forms reasonably required to facilitate such background check. Potential winners will be required to respond to such notification within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected as detailed herein. The prize is not transferable; no prize substitutions or cash alternatives are allowed except as may be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. For example, Prizes are to be donated by Partners and other third parties to the Sponsor and, as such, are subject to availability; if a Partner or other donor does not actually deliver a Prize to us, if such entity revokes or withdraws a Prize, or if the Prize is not otherwise made available to us, then we, as Sponsor will not be able to award the Prize. Entrants who live outside of the United States or fail to complete all required entry fields will be disqualified.
PRIZE AND RETAIL VALUE: One (1) winner will receive one piece of sports or celebrity memorabilia or experience identified in the title of the fundraising campaign (the “Prize“). Prize is valued at $499 (USD). Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen prizes. All federal, state and local taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will comply with all income tax reporting obligations. For prizes including an experience the prize delivery time will be mutually agreed upon and determined at a later date when it is safe to do so. In the event a decision on the date and time is unable to be mutually determined, Sponsor shall have final determination of date, time and location for Prize award.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent on fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. By entering, each participant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Promotion; (b) release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Administrator, the prize suppliers and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties“) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or winner’s acceptance, use or misuse of a prize.
BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, investors, athlete endorsers, media and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize won, including any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, hacking, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without further obligation and, if so, Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prize from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such Force Majeure event. All entries are the property of Sponsor and are not returnable.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winners’ consent to Sponsor’s and its designee’s use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. IF ENTRANT IS CHOSEN AS A PRIZE WINNER, ENTRANT’S PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PLACING ENTRANT’S NAME ON A WINNER’S LIST AS REQUIRED BY STATE LAW.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes play, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
ONLINE REGISTRATION: This Sweepstakes is intended for viewing in the United States only and shall be construed and interpreted according to U.S. law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not a resident of the United States. Repetitive automated electronic submission of entries is specifically prohibited, and any such entries will be disqualified. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, the potential winner may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the identified email account, and Sponsor’s decision will be final. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including any error that may result in an erroneous appearance of qualification for a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment or software that results in loss of entry. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY COMPUTERIZED SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any Prizes awarded, other than those concerning the administration of the Sweepstakes or the determination of winners, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any Prizes awarded, shall be resolved exclusively by the United States District Court or the appropriate Commonwealth Court, for the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; (iii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (iv) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
